Eve teasing paragraph
Eve-teasing is one of the most common issues nowadays. The word 'Eve' refers to women. So, eve- teasing means teasing or disturbing women. There are many ways of eve-teasing; such as making bad or dishonored comments, throwing pebbles to women or girls while they are on their way, offering love proposal, gesturing in a bad way, etc. Generally, school and college going girls fall a victim to the eve-teasing by the bad or characterless youths. Eve-teasing is a social curse. Women cannot move freely because of it. They feel insecured to go to school and colleges. For this, many girls have been compelled to stop their studies. Even many young girls have committed suicide for this curse. Eve- teasing must be stopped. Every conscious guardian has to play a role from their respective position. Social awareness is also necessary in this regard. Government has already taken effective steps to stop eve-teasing. It has empowered mobile court to give immediate punishment to the eve-teasers. If ever teasing cannot be stopped, we will not be able to live comfortably in society.

বর্তমান সময়ে ইভটিজিং একটি খুবই সাধারণ বিষয়। Eve শব্দটি নারী অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়। সুতরাং ইভটিজিং বলতে নারীদের বিরক্ত বা উত্ত্যক্ত করা বোঝায়। ইভটিজিং এর অনেক উপায় রয়েছে যেমন খারাপ বা অসম্মানজনক উক্তি করা, মেয়ে বা নারীদের চলার পথে তাদের দিকে ঢিল ছুড়ে মারা, প্রেমের প্রস্তাব দেওয়া, অশ্লীল ইঙ্গিত করা ইত্যাদি। সাধারণত স্কুল এবং কলেজে পড়ুয়া মেয়েরা খারাপ ও চরিত্রহীন ছেলেদের দ্বারা ইভটিজিং এর শিকার হয়। ইভটিজিং একটি সামাজিক অভিশাপ। এর কারণে নারীরা স্বাধীনভাবে চলাচল করতে পারে না। তারা স্কুল-কলেজে যেতে নিরাপত্তাহীনতায় ভোগে। এ কারণে অনেক মেয়েরা তাদের পড়াশোনা বন্ধ করতে বাধ্য হয়েছে। এমনকি অনেক তরুণী এ অভিশাপের কারণে আত্মহত্যা করেছে। ইভটিজিং অবশ্যই বন্ধ করতে হবে। প্রত্যেক সচেতন অভিভাবকদের নিজ নিজ অবস্থান থেকে অবদান রাখতে হবে। এক্ষেত্রে সামাজিক সচেতনতাও প্রয়োজন। ইভটিজিং বন্ধে সরকার ইতোমধ্যে কার্যকর ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করেছে। ইভটিজিংকারীদের তাৎক্ষণিক শাস্তি বিধানের ক্ষমতা দেয়া হয়েছে ভ্রাম্যমাণ আদালতকে। যদি ইভটিজিং বন্ধ করা সম্ভব না হয় তাহলে সমাজে আমরা নিশ্চিন্তে বসবাস করতে পারব না।
