In the main event, Drikus du Plessis will defend the UFC middleweight title in a rematch against former champion Shaun Strickland. In the co-main event, Zhang Weili will defend the UFC strawweight title against top contender Tatiana Suarez.

UFC 312 will take place on February 8 at Kudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. The preliminary rounds will begin at 6pm ET, while the main event will begin at 8pm ET. The main card will begin at 10pm ET and Dreekus du Plessis and Shaun Strickland will enter the Octagon around 12:30pm ET, depending on how long the undercard fights last.
The UFC 312 preliminaries will be headlined by Jack Jenkins vs. Gabriel Santos.
A standout performer in Dana White’s Contenders series in 2022, Jenkins (13-3) has won two straight in the Octagon and suffered an arm injury against Jose Mariscal in September 2023. The ace returned in August and defeated Herbert Burns via retirement. Jenkins is looking to get a ranking number next to his name with the win.
Santos (11-2) has lost his first two UFC fights since his run in the LFA. The Brazilian earned his first Octagon win against Yi Zha in September.

Brisbane’s Tom Nolan (8-1) is on a two-fight winning streak. The DWCS alumnus, with five wins by knockout, will face Vyacheslav Borshchev (8-4), who is 1-1-1 in his last three fights.
Wang Kong will face Bruna Brasil. Wang (6-1) is a multiple-time Sanda medalist who has been outstanding in the third season of Road to UFC. He’s 1-1 since his debut fight. Brasil (10-4) is a DWCS standout who has gone 2-2 in the Octagon since his debut on the program. "The Special One" defeated Molly McCann in her last fight in July.
Finally, Colby Thicknesse will face Alexandre Topuria. Born in Windang, Thicknesse (7-0) won the 2020 Oceania Open Championship. He makes his UFC debut in 2024 after winning four fights, three of which ended in the first round.
Topuria (5-1) is the brother of UFC champion Ilya Topuria. He is on a three-fight winning streak before making his UFC debut.
